  • 4 spring onions(cut into 4cm pieces)
  • 3cm ginger(cut into 3)
  • 25 grams olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe's preparation

    Ginger Shallot Sauce
  1. Cut spring onions into rough 4cm lengths.
    Put intoClosed lid"Closed lid"
    Chop 3 sec spd 7.
    Scrape down sides of bowl.
    Repeat and set aside.
    Place ginger into bowl, chop 3 sec spd 7. scrape down sides of bowl.
    Add olive oil, saute for 2 min Varoma spd 1
    Pour ginger/oil mix onto spring onions and mix in salt with a spoon.
    Serve a good dollop with your Hainanese chicken.

    thankyou so much I really appreciate your feedback.
    Yes a clove of garlic would be a great addition though the freshness of the ginger by itself is simple and delish.
    I use it for lots of things.

    This is so good! I added a small clove of garlic just to give it a bit extra. Really lovely - even just with white jasmine rice.
