Great Marinara! Notes to self... used ALDI tinned tomatoes and tomato paste... used 500g green prawns (removed tails) and 800g marinara mix - both ALDI ... sauce still running ... try cornflour ... or leave overnight ... have forazen lefover mixed with pasta.
We had this for tea last night, didnt have any wine so added a nip of redwine vinigar ,some chilli been paste( one tsp) for that little extra zing and some cream at end VERY NICE will make again, thanks family enjoyed
Enjoyed by the family - easy and flavourful. Will try some of the suggestions in the comments too. Thanks.
Brilliant recipe! Loved the fact that no cream was required. Was not at all bland. I used a good sized Chile and added one spoonful of vegetable stock with wine as well as Italian parsley to garnish. I don’t often comment on recipes on this forum but love love love this marinara
Great flavour!
Easy recipe, I used a bottle of Passata and it made a lot of sauce, could have easily doubled the amount of marinara for a better sauce to seafood ratio. Added ground cayenne pepper as didn’t have any chillies and was just the right bite.
This was nice, though if I made it again Id be looking at adding some extra zing. I felt it was a bit bland. I doubled the tomatoes, garlic and wine as I had 1kg of marinara mix though turned out that the original amount of sauce would have been sufficient as had heaps of sauce left over. I did add extra chilli and stock to it after it cooked and I taste tested it. Thanks for posting.
Received my Thermomix yesterday and made my first meal tonight. This was great. I used the tin of tomatos but it lacked a bit of zing. Will change it up next time.
This was very easy i did however add some tomato paste and sone herbs etc to taste as i found it a little bland will use this as a base again though thanks.
