Mayonnaise
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 500 g vegetable oil

Place jug on top of lid and weigh in 500gm of Oil and sit to the side.
Crack the eggs into MC and place one at a time into the bowl.
Add the Dijon Mustard, Salt and Pepper into the bowl.
Put the lid on and MC in. Turn on for 4 mins, speed 4
Whilst machine is running slowly drizzle the oil onto the MC and let drain before adding more oil to the lid.
Once finished remove lid and store in airtight jar.

Tip
Do not pour all the oil on the lid in one go as this can take longer to slowly drain into the bowl as the hole in the lid can become blocked. Slowly drizzle oil onto one side of MC

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
