Ingredients
Onion cheese ball
- 1 onion, red or brown, med, 150g, peeled and 1/4rd
- 4 green onions, spring onions, eschallots, cut into 2.5 cm lengths, app.
- 2T fresh parsley
- 1t Garlic powder
- 500g Philly cheese, chopped
- 1t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup Tomato ketchup
- 2T Gherkin relish
- 1/2 cup dried onion flakes
- 1/2 cup Dried parsley

- 1. Place onion, green onion, parsley and garlic powder into the "Closed lid" and chop sp5/10-15 seconds. Scrape.
2. Add remainder of ingredients except for the dried onion flakes, and the dried parsley.
3. Blend sp 4/"Counter-clockwise operation" / 15-20 secs or until fully combined. Scrape if necessary.
4. Cut off a generous amont of clingwrap and lay flat on a bench.
5. Sprinkle with a generous amount (about 1/2) of parsley and onion flakes.
6. Tip cheese mixture onto the top of the flakes, and cover with remaining dried onion and parsley.
7. Form into a ball, then gather tightly into a ballw with the clingwrap.
8. Place into the fridge for a miniimum of 4 hours or up to 24 hours.

A real blast from the past. The original version of this (from the Women's Weekly) came out decades ago. I was making it without Thermie in the 70's.
Best made the day before.
Serve with celery sticks, carrots and crackers.
