Ingredients
Sauce
- 250 grams Beef strips, (or beef of choice)
- 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 slices Shortcut Bacon, roughly chopped
- a handful basil leaves
- some oregano leaves
- 1 small carrot, roughly chopped
- 20 grams oil, (of choice)
- 1 can diced tomatoes, (400g)
- 3 heaped tablespoons tomato paste
- 1-2 heaped tablespoons Vegetable Stock Concentrate (EDC), (to taste)
- 200-500 grams water

1. Mince beef using Turbo until desired consistency. Set aside.
2. Place onion, garlic, basil, oregano, carrot and bacon to bowl. Chop for 4 sec/speed 5-6. Add oil and saute 3 mins/Varoma/speed 1.
3. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, Vegetable Stock, mince and water (be aware that the more water you had, the more it will need to reduce at the end). Cook for 15-20 mins/100C/"Counter-clockwise operation" reverse/speed 1.
4. If too watery, remove MC, put basket on lid and cook in 5-10 min increments/Varoma/"Counter-clockwise operation" reverse/speed 1 until desired consistancy.
Tip
My daughter loved this on pasta, which is why it's named after her. I'm pretty sure it could have other uses.
The salt content is a little high, so be sure to adjust for your own tastes.

Delicious! Will make this again and again. Thanks! Added slightly more mince, mushrooms and only 100mL of water.
A really nice pasta sauce, I've made it a few times now and I prefer not adding any water at all and I get a lovely thick sauce.
