Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

5 second Indian carrot and coconut salad - I would probably consider this as more of a condiment, like a chutney, rather than a salad, to accompany an Indian meal. This is so fresh and tasty and was a big hit at our Indian dinner. I used coconut flakes and omitted the chili so that my 10yo could enjoy it too. I will definitely make this again! Five stars! Thanks for sharing!
Fresh and spicy!
A great accompaniment to our lamb korma. Might cut back the green chilli though. Will certainly make it again!
Very easy and has a good taste. Thank you
I had this for lunch over 2 days with extra lime juice on the 2nd day. Light, refreshing and great for my weightloss too.
Awesome recipe!
Ive made this fabulous salad a few times now. So easy. So fresh and tasty. Thanks-you! I highly recommend it!
This is a fantastic salad, nice and hot (I left some chilli seeds in as my in laws love chilli). The only thing I could suggest is that if you are taking this salad to a BBQ or something, make AT LEAST double the amount, as this quantity fits into a dessert bowl and I am quite certain that my father in law is going to tease me about the size of my contribution haha
Great recipe! Used with chicken biryani and naan bread! Delicious.
Thank you so much for trying it and commenting Joanna! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I made this tonight and served it with a piece of marinated chicken as a quick dinner and it was delicious!!!! Thank you, I will definitely make this again. Even my ever sceptical husband loved this salad!!
