Recipe's preparation

    Mlince Dough
  1. Pour 280 mls salted water into TM bowl, add teaspoon vinegar, add flour.

Close lid and combine ingredients for 5-8 secs on speed 6-7

    Knead 1 min

Remove dough onto lightly floured surface and cutthe ball of dough into 8 piecs (1/2 then, 1/4, then 1/tmrc_emoticons.8)

Roll out with rollingpin as thin as you can, no need to worry about the shape.

Bake each individual in oven until lightly golden, as long as they are baked and dry. Pizza stones are excellent for this.

Allow to dry out as much as possible, store in clean cloth bag or pillow case.

  2. Little hands love to help!

Tip

"Mlinci" are a traditional Croatian side dish that is eaten with Christmas turkey or any roast dish.

Once you have roasted your turkey or any other roast dish keep pan juices.

To cook mlinci (a sort of pasta type dish): Break the mlinci into medium to large pieces (kids love doing this!)

Pour boiling water over the pieces and let stand for 5 mins allowing the dough to soften (see the pasta connection)

Drain well and then place in the pan with the roasting juices.  Mix well, add salt if needed.

Serve with your Chritsmas Turkey! Sretan Bozic!
