Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Drop garlic onion, ginger and chilli onto running blades at speed 8 untill minced.

2.Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula, add remaining ingredients. cook for twenty minutes, varoma/speed 2/reverse blades.

    3. Remove measuring cap and place steaming basket over lid to allow chutney to reduce and thicken. Continue to cook for another 15 - 20 minutes/varoma/speed 2/reverse blades.

    4. This chutney will thicken as it cools , so needs some liquid remaining. Check set on a cold plate.

Tip

You may wish to chop up the pieces more finely depending on your preferences for chunky chutney or not!

This is a star. We have a prolific starfruit tree and its fantastic being able to whip this chutney up. Perfect with cheese and crackers. Thankyou

This. Chutney is soooooo tasty, it could win prizes ! Difficult finding the Hibiscus at this time of year in Scotland , well nigh impossible but it's fine without. Really nice with thick sliced ham, fresh Granary bread and a glass of good Scottish ale.  tmrc_emoticons.)
