Has anyone tried blitzing the spinach into the soup after steaming? I'm not keen on adding it to the soup as I'm not a fan of the texture. If so, how did it work out for you?

Yum.... I added stock, cracked pepper and some grated Parmesan! I also only used 30kg of oil and will try less next time.

    What a surprise!

It was so creamy, thick and yummy. I used potatoes as I didn't have turnips, the spinach was really good, next time I'll add more. For those who think it was bland.. just try different condiments, each family enjoys has a different taste and it's great to be able to adjust that. I added 2 tbps of vegie stock and a bit more salt. Next time I'll try with some curry.

This soup is my new favourite. I used potato instead of turnip and added 2 tablespoons of thermomix vegetable stock. Delicious!

Yes, a little bland, I added 2 tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp toasted and ground cumin, 1 tsp tumeric, pinch of cayenne, 3 tsp Thermomix chicken, juice of a small lemon.

I love this soup too and the big bonus is you can steam something in the Varoma at the same time.

    Hi there,

I also loved this soup however I found the next day it had turned to glue and had a skin on top, I tried watering it down but this affected the taste and the soup became bland.  Maybe it's just meant to be eaten straight away?
