Ingredients

Chowder

  • 6 sprigs of parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • 150 grams chicken thighs, (previously steamed in Varoma)
  • 3 rashers of good quality bacon, or 6 short cut bacon rashers
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 1 red chilli, (optional)
  • 30 grams oil
  • 350 grams potatoes, chopped into chunks
  • 1 litre Chicken stock or water
  • 1 tablespoon TM Vegetable Paste
  • 1 cob fresh corn - kernels only, (or can of corn kernels)

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Chop parley 6 seconds on speed 7.  Set aside  Don't clean bowl.


     


    2.  Add chicken to bowl and shred for 5 seconds on reverse, speed .  Set aside.  Don't clean bowl.


     


    3.  Chop bacon and onion 5 seconds on speed 5.


     


    4.  Add oil and cook for 2 minutes on 100 degrees speed 2 with MC removed.


     


    5.  Add potatoes and chilli (if used) - chop for 5 seconds at speed 5.


     


    6.  Add remaining ingredients except for parsley, and cook for 20 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 2.


     


    7.  Dish it up and garninsh with reserved parlsey if desired.

    Very nice. Id prefer a few more chunky pieces so will probably add the chicken last next time but this was very tasty
