  • 250 grams chicken, Diced/Sliced
  • 10 grams olive oil
  • 1500 grams water
  • 2 cans Creamed Corn
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons chicken stock paste, Measured

Thickening

  • 3 tablespoons cornflour
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons water, Extra

Garnish

  • 2 stalks shallots/spring onion, Finely Sliced
  • 3 slices ham, Finely Sliced

Recipe's preparation

    SOUP
  1. Chop Ginger 2 sec Sp 7 then remove into bowl for later. 

  2. Add 10g Oil and 250g of Chicken Strips/pieces to TMX Bowl. Varoma, 10min, Sp2

  3. Add Stock, Water, Corn, Sesame Oil and Pepper and cook 15min, Varoma, Sp2

  4. Add Shallots

  5. THICKENING
  6. Mix Cornflour and Water together and add to Soup. Cook 2min, Varoma, Sp2

  7. Mix Egg Whites and Water and add to Soup in a stream over the MC while cooking 3min, Varoma, Sp2

  8. GARNISH
  9. Finely slice extra Spring Onions and Ham and sprinkle on top of each bowl.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
