Creamy Pumpkin Soup
- 100 grams Bacon slices, Diced into 2cm pieces
- 1 --- onion, Quartered
- 1 piece ginger, stem, Approx 2cm piece, peeled
- 4 clove garlic, Peeled
- 20 gram olive oil
- 500 gram pumpkin, Diced into 2 cm pieces
- 1 --- potato, Large - diced into 2 cm pieces
- 1/2 --- carrot, Sliced
- 250 gram water
- 1 level tbsp Vegetable stock paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 150 gram cream

Place bacon into mixing bowl and cook 5 min/100°C/speed 1, without measuring cup. Transfer to small bowl and set aside.
Place onion, garlic and ginger into mixing bowl and chop 8 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula.
Add oil and cook 5 min/100°C/speed 1, without measuring cup.
Add pumpkin, potato, carrot and bacon. Chop 12 sec/speed 7.
Add water, stock paste, salt and pepper and cook 20 min/100°C/speed 1.
Remove lid and taste, add additional salt and pepper to taste.
Add cream and replace lid. Blend 30 sec/speed 5 - 9, increasing speed gradually from speed 5 - 9.
Transfer soup into serving bowl and enjoy.
