Ingredients

  • 300 g lentils, green or brown preferable
  • 125 g bacon cube
  • 120 g leek, app. 1/2
  • 300 g Potatos, cut in cubes
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 100 g celery stick, 1 stick app.
  • 200 g carrots, chop into pieces
  • 2 cube meet stock
  • 1150 g hot water
  • 30 g vinagre
  • 2 Kabanossi sausages, or any of your choice
  • 10 g oil
  • Salt and pepper, to season
  • 1 bunch parsley, for decoration

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add onion and chop - Speed 8 for 3 Sec.

  2. Add bacon cubes and sautee for 3 min./ Speed 1/ Varoma temp.

  3. Add leek, celery, carrots and potatos and chop for 5 Sec./Speed 5

  4. Add Lentils, water and beef stock. Cook for 35 min./ Temp-100 deg./speed 1

  5. Add salt and pepper to season.

    Add Vinagre and sausages and cook for 5 min./ Temp. 100 deg./Speed 1

  6. Serve with fresh bread

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31).
