- 1 onion
- 20 g oil
- 1 ham hock
- 1/2 tablespoon stock
- 250 g diced Pumpkin
- 250 g diced sweet potato
- water
- 2 bay leaves

Soak split peas in a bowl of water overnight.
Cut onion into quarters and place in TM bowl, chop for 5 seconds on speed 7. Scrape down bowl, add oil and saute 3 mins Varoma speed 1.
Place peas and stock into TM bowl and add enough water to nearly reach the 2 litre line.
Trim ham hock of fat and cut into pieces placing into TM basket, along with bay leaves. Place basket into TM bowl and make sure water is not higher than 2 litre line.
Cook for 40 mins 100C on speed soft with the MC out of the lid or until ham is tender.
Remove basket, discard bay leaves and bones. Return ham to TM bowl and add potato and pumpkin. Cook for 10 mins at 100C speed 1 or until potato and pumkin are cooked.
Enjoy soup with crusty bread!
