Put leek and onion in bowl chop for 10 seconds speed 7. Add bacon cook on 100 speed 1 for 4 minutes. Add water, stock and potatoes cook on 100 speed 1 for 12 minutes. Add cream and milk cook on 100 speed 1 for 10 minutes. Blend until smooth.

Excellent recipe. I took the advice of others, sautéd the leek and onion in 20g butter with a clove of garlic. Very tasty. Also used a sprinkling of Black Truffel Salt.
This is my favourite go to soup recipe that is a MASSIVE hit with all the family. I know others have but I dont alter this one bit because it's delicious just the way it was written. Thank you for sharing!
Really good, will make again. I added garlic and 20g of butter to saute the leek and onion. Used half sour cream and half cream cheese.

did add 20g of olive oil to cook garlic onion and leek (yes I added garlic)
I also added salt and pepper and 20g of parmasum to the final 10 min cook

yyes I agree you need olive oil to cook the leek onion and bacon
