- 1 can Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 bunch parsley
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons plain flour

Place chickpeas, spices, parsley, salt and pepper into mixing bowl
Blend 5 sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat until smooth
Add one tablespoon of flour into mixing bowl and stir 8sec/speed 3
Mix sesame seeds and remaining flour in shallow bowl for dusting falafels
Roll falafel mixture into small, slightly flattened balls
Lightly coat each ball in sesame seed mixture
Heat olive oil in a shallow frying pan and cook falafels for 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned.

Tip
For a healthier option spray falafels with olive oil and place in preheated oven (180degrees) on lined oven tray for 30 minutes or until slightly browned and heated through.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31).
