I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
combine all ingrediants for 3 -5 secs speed 4
set aside
heat milk for 5mins 37 add yeast and mix fews seconds speed 3 then set aside in warm spot till bubbles appear i wrapped in blanket
i then added rest ingrediants for dough and mixed on interval speed for 6mins
the dough is wet and difficult to remove from bowl i just took blade out much easier, wrap in mat or put in greased bowl cover and set aside till doubles in size
turn dough onto floured mat or bench mat is usefull as you need to roll out to size of mat approx 40x50cm
spread filling over dough (warm a little if hard)
fold dough over lenth ways, cut 16 strips, take one strip twist a few times then curl into a knot ensuring ends are tucked in so they dont spring open during cooking, place them on trays not to close or they will stick together set a side covered till doubled again, set oven to 200
brush each bun with beatenegg and cook for approx 10-12
mins
remove from oven and brush with golden syrup decorate with sugar nibs i used coffee sugar crystals cover with cloth to prevent drying best sered same day or warmed

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
