SUGAR COOKIE RECIPE
- 250 grams Salted butter, room temperature
- 125 grams caster sugar
- 25 grams rice flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 375 grams plain flour, can be gluten free

- 1. Add butter and sugar and Rice Flour to your thermomix. Mix on speed"Counter-clockwise operation" 3 for 1 min.
2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
3. Add vanilla.
4. Add flour and mix on 2 mins "Dough mode" on dough function to bring together.
5. Transfer to Thermat.
6. Lightly roll your dough into 2 balls (one into fridge) then place on a floured work surface.
7. Roll ball until about 1 cm thick - cut into shapes
8 . Transfer the cut out shapes to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
9. Preheat your oven to 190°C fan forced and bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. Depending on oven.
10. Allow the cookies to cool completely before decorating.

These cookies freeze well - make basic biscutes and then ice after defrosting.
