  • 300 grams self-raising flour
  • 90 grams Butter
  • 150 grams Milk

Filling

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Set oven to 200 degrees.


    Weigh SR flour and butter into TM bowl and mix 5 seconds/speed 5, until it resembles breadcrumbs.


    Add milk and knead for 60 seconds on interval speed.


    Turn dough out onto baking paper and roll into a rectangular shape measure approx 25x40cm.


    Generously spread with Nutella or Hazelnut Spread.


    Roll up and then slice into 2cm pieces.


    Place on baking tray and cook for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

    Thanks for a quick & easy scroll recipe. I made these as mini scrolls, & did half the batch as Nutella Tongue, & the other half as lemon curd & coconut. These tasty little morsels were out of the oven & on a plate in less than 30 minutes!

    I followed the recipe but must have done something wrong as they turned out to be rock hard so had to throw them all away.

    Just made these and used wholemeal flour and unsalted butter to try and be alittle more healthy...

    Turned out great.

    Beautiful when they are fresh out of the oven. They lost their appeal a few hours after cooking, as the dough when quite dry. Best eaten when hot and fresh!

    This made a beautiful scroll dough. Unfortunately my children didn't like this though with nutella. Will try again using something else. Maybe a more savoury filling.
