Delicious and very addictive. I used three blocks of Lindt chocolate. I grated the broken up blocks of chocolate before making the caramel in a clean bowl. I'll be making this recipe again.

Love this! Have since made with pop corn, rice bubbles and jatz biscuits (separately in place of the salada and only because I was out) Amazing and so easy! Perfect everytime! Thanks for this great recipe

Thank you! I'm not into "salted caramel", so I left the salt out, but without it I absolutely love it!

I love this recipe as it is quick, easy and a great hit with everyone. The previous comment about the choc chips not melting should not put others off. I didnt have choc chips so roughly chopped up chocolate. It didnt melt properly so I just popped the tray back in the oven for a minute and then the chocolate was soft and easy to smooth over.

I’m mad at this recipe right now. I’ve just wasted a whole lot of butter and chocolate.

When you doubt the instructions in a recipe, think twice!

I followed everything to the t, but when it came to the chocolate I wasn’t convinced it’d melt on its own.

I went against my better judgement and followed what the instructions said only to be left with unmelted chocolate on top.

    Very disappointing.

For anyone making this my recommendation would be to carefully melt the chocolate yourself and add it a bit later, maybe after the base has been in the fridge for a little while.
