Ingredients

Variation Gluten Free Almond and Choc Chip Biscuits

  • 200 graw almonds
  • 30 g cold pressed rice bran oil
  • 90 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt, flakes
  • 90 g good quality dark chocolate (in small pieces)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius and cover a baking tray with baking paper or a silicon mat.
  2. Place almonds in the TM bowl and grind on speed 9 for 10 seconds.
  3. Add oil and mix on speed 9 for 10 seconds.
  4. Add sugar, egg, bicarbonate soda and salt and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds.
  5. Add chocolate and mix on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4 for 4 seconds.
  6. Spoon tablespoon sized balls onto the tray and allow room for spreading.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
  8. Cool on the tray for 5 to 10 minutes or until they are firm enough to transfer to a cooling rack.

Tip

I use a small ice cream scoop to transfer the mixture to the baking tray.
