Ingredients

rolls

  • 300 grams rice flour
  • 300 grams GF plain flour
  • 5 grams salt
  • 1 level tablespoon castor sugar
  • 2 heaped tablespoons asst herbs, dry mix
  • 1 handful of grated cheese, add more if you want them extra cheesy
  • 14g dried yeast
  • 350 grams Milk
  • 210 grams hot water, note , you made need more water if you add extra cheese
  • 12 shavings of Parmesan cheese

Recipe's preparation

  1. mix flours, salt, sugar, herbs and cheese together on turbo for 5 seconds or until mixed through

    add milk, water and yeast - mix for 10 seconds speed 6

    knead dough for 2 minutesDough mode"Dough mode"

    pre heat oven to 180 degrees

    rub oil onto a large baking tray

    scoop out dough and place on tray in your desired roll size 

    sprinkle with extra herbs and a shaving of parmesan cheese and allow to rest for 30-45 minutes depending on room temperature

    place rolls into oven until crispy on top 20-40 minutes size depending

    These were nice, loved the texture and the cheese on top gave a nice flavor, however they were way too salty for me. Would only use a pinch of salt next time.

    These are yum and freeze well for a GF lunch option for kids who can't have wheat!

    These are yummy - have made them twice, they also freeze well for school lunches.

    after trying multiple different recipes these are so yummy and fluffy inside you would never know they are gluten free!
