I made double the mix (thank goodness - because it is so yummy) and used honey instead of sugar. and cooked for longer (2-3 minutes) Oh my goodness! Yumm

This is a great recipe - I used almond milk, tapioca flour and rice syrup instead of sugar. It turned out really well! I had to make up a second batch as I was using it for a trifle. Many thanks!

This was the first time making custard from scratch. Very easy to make and tasted delicious. Like others I suggest cooking for an extra 2 minutes and doubling the ingredients

Delicious recipe. So easy! But definately need to double the recipe if you want to feed 4 people tmrc_emoticons.)

I also halved the sugar and still tasted delish.

Delicious. Next time I will definitely be doubling the batch.

    I made this today:
    10g (1 tbsp) cornflour
    40g sugar
Super tasty. My son said he liked it better than the Coles one I had in the fridge. Big Smile

I put it on for five minutes from the time it reached 90°, it took about five minutes to get there. So next time I'll probably just put on for 10 mins at the start.

Definitely going to double up next time and probably reduce sugar to 30g and see how that is.

    thank you for your recipe.

Fantastic! Everybody loved it 😊 It's going straight to the pool room!

I used double ingredients with great success

Has anyone tried using custard powder instead of cornflour?

Hello , I’m after a pouring custard like the carton custard you buy , would your custard be classed as a pouring custard , thank you
