I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Wash and pat dry fish fillets. (I used frozen and they were fine) Place a piece of wet baking paper on the top tray of the varoma and place fish fillets on top. Set aside.
Peel and chop up vegetables of your choice and place in the varoma steaming tray. Set aside.
Add parsley and garlic to bowl and chop 4 sec / speed 7. Scrape down sides.
Add olive oil and saute 2 min / 100 degrees / speed 1.
Add remaining ingredients (lemon juice, chicken stock paste, water, wine) and measure rice into rice basket. Rince the rice under water and then place back in the bowl.
Place lid on top with varoma and set to 20 min / varoma temp / speed 3.
Check your fish is cooked by seeing if it flakes away, if so, remove varoma and rice basket and set aside.
Add cream to jug and blend 1 min / 100 degrees / speed 4.Pour over fish, rice and vegies, add salt and pepper to taste.

Tried this tonight, really delicious flavour. I cooked an extra 2 mins, after reading comments regarding rice. 100% happy. Thank you for sharing

Brilliant! Foodie husband and daughter voted this as one of the best meals they’ve had in ages! Will definitely be making this again!
This is a favourite in our household. Like the others said I found I needed to cook the rice for a bit longer. But over all it is so yummy and easy to make! Thanks for sharing
A favourite; I make this every week. The rice was still crunchy at 10 minutes, so I extended cooking time to 30 minutes, pausing to stir the rice at 10 minute intervals.
Can anyone please provide me with nutritional information for this dish?
I had a very happy house last night when I made this meal. It was so yummy & easy.
Thanks so much for posting it..
Big thumbs up.
Tried this for the first time tonight and it was yummy. Thanks for sharing
This is the first recipe I've made where I wasn't using the chip as a guide. I was nervous being new to thermomix!! It turned out great. For me I would like the sauce to be a bit thicker so in future I may add some corn flour to the sauce. I followed the recipe, except that I used 400 grams John Dory fillets (it was about 8 thin fillets that covered the entire varoma but still cooked to perfection). Thanks for the recipe. I'll be making it again soon!!

yummmy,
Amazing! Whole family loved it and I will be making this often. I used dhufish fillets and coconut cream and added a little more rice. Delicious!!!
Yummy! First time using the Varoma was a success!
I made a few adjustments to the sauce - added some dill and spring onions at the beginning, otherwise was as per the recipe. It was thinner than I was expecting a sauce to be, but very, very tasty indeed. I froze the leftover sauce for next time I have steamed fish.
My pieces of fish were still uncooked at 20 minutes, so I removed the veggies and put it back on for another 5 minutes and it was perfect.
