I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place the meat into a large mixing bowl ready for marinating, set aside.
Add garlic, ginger to bowl, chop 5 sec/speed 9/MC on. Scrape down bowl.
Add onion, chop 5 sec/speed 5/MC on.
Add remaining marinade ingredients excluding meat, cooking oil and sesame seeds and combine for 5 sec/speed 4/MC on.
Pour marinade over meat, coat meat well, then add seasame oil and mix in well. Refrigerate covered for at least 4 hours.
To cook, place oil into a pan and cook meat on high heat for 3 to 5 mins until the meat is starting to turn brown. Stir occasionally and reduce the heat gradually as the meat cooks.
When the meat is nearly cooked turn down heat to low and quickly stir in the sesame seeds.
Serve immediately. Tastes wonderful with the coleslaw from the BCB WITHOUT the mayonaise, and with crispty fried noodles scattered on top.

Tip
Freezing the meat until it's not yet completely frozen will make it easier to cut the meat in to thin slices. I usually make mine no thicker than 3mm thick.
Removing the blood from the meat with kitchen paper makes for a nicer finished product.
This is perfect to prepare the day before and cook on the BBQ.Can be served with steamed or fried rice.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
