Ingredients

Stuffing for a 3-5kg Turkey

  • 8 slices Whole meal Bread
  • 1 brown onion

  • 40 grams Butter
  • 100 grams walnuts
  • 120 grams craisins (dried cranberries), Ocean Spray Blend
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon thyme, Leaves
  • Salt & Pepper optional, For Seasoning

Recipe's preparation

    Stuffing Preparation
  1. Toast 8 Slices of bread to Well Done, allow to cool.  Break up into quarters and then chop 10sec/Speed 8. 


    set aside, rinse out mixing bowl

  2. Chop Onion 3 Sec/Speed 7 scrape down sides.


    add Butter and sauté 3 mins/Varoma/Speed 1


    Allow 5 mins to cool


     

  3. Place breadcrumbs, walnuts, craisins, eggs, lemon thyme, salt & pepper.


    Mix together 2 mins / Speed 1


    Stuffing mixture is ready to place into Turkey Cavity

    A mix of thyme and lemon zest can be used and when desperate substituting fresh for dry, 1tblsp fresh to 1tsp of dry herbs.
