Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Yummmm!!!! I subbed the chilli powder with a fresh chilli coz I didn’t have the powder . Next time I would use more prawns coz there was heaps of beautiful sauce so I could enjoy it twice😁😁
Really tasty! This was my husband's first attempt at using the Thermomix and hopefully not his last! Was so scrummy served with penne pasta. He didn't think 500g prawns was enough for one person as it worked out as 5 prawns each so we ate all the prawns between the two of us and he reserved the leftover sauce for the next day and did more prawns. Maybe we are greedy! The taste was really good, I definitely will be asking for this again!
Loved this made for easter good friday. I use 1tablespoon of cornflour in a little water at the end to thicken the sauce. We have also halved the recipe for the 2 of us. Thank you!
So delicious I'll definitely be making this again
Absolutely delicious. Even my husband, who doesn't like "creamy things" loved it. Will definitely make this dish again. Have printed it out so I don't lose it. Would make a great entree for a dinner party.
Made this tonight for the fam got lots of compliments saying that it tasted just like the garlic prawns we eat the bistro! Will be the only garlic prawns recipe I will ever need...next time I will use more prawns or same weight but king prawns, I also omitted the chilli powder I might try half next time. Overall great recipe!!!
Have made this several times now and I love it!!!! Thank you for sharing the amazing recip!
This recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of Thermomix stock. Is that a liquid, concentrate or powder? I'm hoping to make this tonight so need help to work out a substitute please. I'm a brand newbie!
I have made this three times now. It hasn't disappointed yet. Yum.
