Ingredients

Creamy Chicken Pasta with Pumpkin, Sun-Dried Tomato and Spinach

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 1 stalk leek
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 100 grams Sun-dried Tomato
  • 500 grams water
  • 2 tablespoons chicken stock paste
  • 10 grams apple cider vinegar
  • 600 grams chicken breast fillet
  • 200 grams pasta, dry
  • 200 grams cream
  • 80 grams spinach
  • 100 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 200 grams pumpkin, Chopped approx 2 cm squares

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add garlic, leek (or onion if using) to TM Bowl and chop Closed lid"Closed lid" . Speed 6, 3 seconds. Do not scrape the bowl.
  2. Add Butter, Olive oil and thyme. 5 minutes, Varoma Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"
  3. Add chicken breast, stock, water, apple cider vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes. 1 hour 30 minutes, Slow Cook Mode Slow Cooking"Slow Cooking" or 90 degrees Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" for TM5 users. Do not insert measuring cup.
    Meanwhile place Varoma with pumpkin on lid and cover with varoma lid. Set a timer for 30 Minutes and cook pumpkin to your liking.
  4. Pour bowl contents into Thermoserver with pasta. Lift chicken out with tongs and put back into Bowl. Insert Measuring Cup and Shred chicken for 5 seconds, Speed 5. Add Chicken back to Thermoserver. Cover and let pasta absord stock liquid.
  5. Meanwhile, Clean and dry mixing bowl
    Add parmesan to bowl and grate for 10 seconds, speed 9.
  6. Add cream and spinach to bowl to warm for 5 minutes, 90 degrees Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" . Add to Thermoserver with remaining contents including pumpkin. Sit and allow Pasta to absord liquid and serve once pasta is cooked. Serve with additional parmesan or Crusty Bread of your liking. Enjoy!

Tip

You may use Brown Onion rather than Leek if you prefer or don't have a leek on hand.
At Step 4, you may choose to keep contents in the TM Bowl rather than use your thermoserver to speed things up. If so, be sure to use a good quality Italian Pasta to prevent it breaking down during the final step.
