I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Weigh ginger (if using) and dried apricots into TM bowl and then chop 4 sec, sp 7.
Add water and sugar and cook 9 min varoma temp, sp 2 with MC in place.
If you desire a chunky jam, it is ready! Otherwise blend for 6 sec, sp 6.
Pour into a sterilised jar. Enjoy!
Tip
Other lovely ideas instead of ginger are 1 tsp cardamon powder.
Try adding 1tsp vanilla extract, or 2 teaspoons brandy mixed through at the end of the cooking time.
You could also try adding an orange or lemon instead of or as part of the water component.
Keep in refrigerator- mine doesn't last long but I would assume around 1 month would be best used by date :o)

Great recipe!
I've made this jam several times - I left the jam chunky, jam has come out perfect every single time.
I have a TM5. What changes would you make to this recipe to ensure success in the new model?
I tried this recipe but it came out very runny. Can anyone advise what to do.

Sooooo Good! Thank you
Awesome recipe - I used lots of ginger in mine and about a quarter of the water because my apricots are fresh!
