Ingredients
2 shallots
- 1/2 leek, cut fine
- 2 shallots, roughly chopped
- 2 Large celery stalks, roughly chopped
- 1000 grams water
- 1 tablespoon failsafe veggie stock paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 400 grams Chicken Thighs diced
- 120g Vermicelli rice noodles, broken into 3 cm pieces

Dice chicken thighs to small cubes.
Cut up Leek, shallots, and Celery.
Add Leek, Shallots and Celery into "Closed lid" and chop on speed 7 for 4 seconds. Scraping down bowl and repeat.
Add 200 grams of water
Blitz for 10 seconds on speed 9.
Add 800 grams of water, failsafe vegetable stock, garlic powder and chicken.
Cook for 10 minutes at 100 degrees "Counter-clockwise operation" on "Gentle stir setting"
Add broken vermicelli and cook for 10 minutes at 100 degrees "Counter-clockwise operation" on "Gentle stir setting"
15 minutes
Tip
For a non failsafe version you can add frozen peas and/or creamed corn once cooking is finished.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
