Ingredients

  • 380 grams unsalted butter, chopped
  • 300 grams 70% cocoa dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 500 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams White Wings plain gluten free flour, sifted
  • 80 grams raw cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 5 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 200 grams walnuts, chopped (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate Brownies Gluten Free
    1. Preheat oven to 180c.
    2. Combine butter and chocolate in mixing bowl and melt 50C/5 min/speed 2.
    3. Add brown sugar, flour, cacao and baking powder. Mix 20 sec/speed 3. Scrape down sides of bowl.
    4. Add eggs and walnuts. Mix 10 sec/speed 4.
    5. Pour mix into a lined 30cm rectangular baking tray and bake for 30 minutes. Cool in tray then transfer to a chopping board and slice into squares.
    6. Dust with cacao and serve with dollop cream.

Tip

If you prefer a nut free version, simply omit the walnuts.

Feel free to add different types of inclusions inclusing pecans, macadamias and chocolate chips for extra naughtiness!

    ok it is now cooked and its delish, I used Quinoa flour as I had no plain Gluten Free and it seems fine will do it again

    Yes it does.

    Trust me its not too sweet, but if you prefer a less sweet version just reduce to 400g.

    Does this really have 500grams of brown sugar? I've never made brownies before - is this normal?
