Ingredients

Malteser Base

  • 250 g Plain chocolate biscuits
  • 280 g choc coated Maltesers
  • 100 g unsalted butter -cubed
  • 170 g condensed milk, 1/2 cup

Choc Topping

  • 200 g Milk chocolate.
  • 1 level tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe's preparation

    BASE
  1. 1. Grease 25cmx 15cm pan, line with baking paper
    2. Add biscuits to Closed lid"Closed lid" chop 10s/5sp add to separate bowl.
    3. Reserve 40 whole choc malt balls, coursely chop 1 cup of the remaining balls. Leave leftovers for another use!!
    4.Add butter and condensed milk to Closed lid"Closed lid" heat 3m/90C/sp3
    5.Add in chopped biscuits and chopped malt balls Stir 60s/sp2RCounter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Scape down sides and repeat if necessary. Press mixture into lined pan and refridgerate for 30 min.
  2. Choc Topping
  3. 1. Add milk chocolate to Closed lid"Closed lid" chop 2m/sp5, repeat if necessary.
    2. Add vegetable oil and heat 2m/60C/SP3
    3. Spread over Base, top with reserved choc malt balls.
    4. Refidgerate for 1 hour or overnight before cutting.

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
