- 160 grams raw sugar
- 80 grams Butter, Room Temperature
- 2 eggs
- 360 grams Self Raising Flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 portion Jam

- 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- 2. Place raw sugar into bowl and mill 4 seconds speed 9.
- 3. Add cubed butted and cream 15 seconds speed 4.
- 4. While blades are still turning add eggs 1 at a time through the hole in the top of the bowl. Scrape down sides of bowl.
- 5. Add self raising flour and salt. Combine 10 seconds speed 4. Knead for 30 seconds.
- 6. Roll desert spoon size portion of mixture into a ball. Press thumb print into top of ball. Place on tray – ensure they are not to close to allow for spreading of mixture.
- 7. Add small portion of your favourite jam in the indent.
- 8. Bake 10-15 minutes on 180 degrees.

Great recipe!, sooo easy to make and loved by the family, I used the thermie marmelade jam. Will be making theses again.
I used half the sugar and they were perfect. next time I will make them smaller as I found them big for my kids. Other than that they are great
Thanks for this recipe, these biscuits are a great easy recipe that don't require too many ingredients. My batch made 33 portions, they were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I found them to be very sweet But my husband and kids loved the sweetness. I used my home made jam which is a bit runny and still worked well for this recipe.
