Old fashioned Vanilla tea cake
- 125 g Butter, Chopped
- 150 g SR flour
- 200 g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 40 g custard powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 30 g melted butter, optional
- 3 tsp cinnamon & sugar mixture, optional

- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease/line a medium loaf tin.
1. Add all ingredients to the
"Closed lid" and beat sp4/2mins or until well combined.
2. Spread into the tin and bake 45-50 mins or until cooked when tested.
3. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
4. Brush with optional melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
