Preheat Oven to 180 C
Lightly grease a spring form round or square tin 22-25cm
Place all crumble ingredients into TM bowl and mix between 10-20 seconds on speed 5-6 or until mixture looks crumbly.
Place half the mixture onto the base of spring form tin and press down firmly with your fingers or the back of a spoon
Set aside remaining mixture.
Step 1
Peel and core quinces and slice into 1-2 cm slices
place half of the quinces in the varoma bowl and half on middle tray, this will help to steam them a little quicker.
Place 600 mls of water in tm bowl and place Varoma in place
Steam quinces for 30 mins Varoma Temp speed 1
Alternatively you can roughly chop the quinces place in tm bowl and cook for 30 mins at 100C speed 1 . The quinces will turn a reddish colour and develop more intense flavour
Once steamed/cooked layer quinces on the crumble base in springform tin and sprinkle with cinnamon
Empty water from bowl.
Step 2
Add remaining filling ingredients to tm bowl and mix for 40 - 60 secs on speed 4 until all combined.
Pour mixture over quinces
Cover with remaining crumble
Place springform tin in preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 - 45 minutes until golden on top.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly remove from tin.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
