    Didn't work well for me.
I tried twice. Once with dedicated and once with a mix of flakes and dedicated. Both times it was too moist. I think it could be good to use as a fine coating for bliss balls.

Can you dry the coconut in the thermomix first, in case it's a bit moist, instead of doing it in the oven? Any tips for this?

I was told you need to use 6 eggs to half cup coconut flour in recipes for it to work.

Looking forward to trying this out in muffins etc

Yes and yes. I think you need to use 200gm to get a good mill. The desicated coconut needs to be dry too. Some organic and health food brands are quite miost so dry out in the oven on low for 30 mins first (or in a dehydraytor)  The flour is not like regular flour, so i mill as i need and dont store, as can be a little moist. Definately if you mill for longer than 20 second the olis in the coconut release and coconut butter begins to form. You could just turbo and scrape down till you have the consistency you like. All the best!!

My attempt didn't seem to work very well,  it didn't seem to turn out any finer, and it started turning to butter at the bottom. Could this be because I only used 100g instead of 200g?

Is the flour meant to be completely dry or a bit moist/oily?

You just saved me $16 for a kilo of the stuff when I only need 25gm for a recipe!
