Ingredients

Hokkaido Milk Bread

  • 120mL Milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 280g Baker's Flour
  • 20g plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 50g whipped cream
  • 20g Butter, Unsalted

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Pour milk into the thermomix jug and heat the milk 1min/50c/Sp1.
    2. Add dried instant yeast and 2 teaspoons of sugar and mix 30s/Sp3.
    3. Rest in TM for 10 mins.
    4. Add in bakers flour, plain flour, milk powder, salt, 50g sugar, egg and whipped cream. Knead for 3min and rest in TM for 30 mins.
    5. Add butter. Knead for 2min and rest in TM for 30 mins.
    6. Knead for 1min.
    7. Remove dough, shape and proof until double in size.
    8. Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 15-20mins.
