  • 600 grams flour

  • 10 grams salt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 420 grams water

Recipe's preparation

    Simplest path
  1. Put a little cooking oil in the Closed lid"Closed lid" and brush sides to avoid sticking.
  2. If using a bread tin use the same oil and brush to prepare tin.
  3. Add all dough ingredients and combine Blend"Blend" 15 seconds / speed 3.
  4. Knead for Dough mode"Dough mode" 6 minutes / dough speed.
  5. Leave in Closed lid"Closed lid" to prove for 15 minutes.
  6. Knead for Dough mode"Dough mode" 3 minutes / dough speed.
  7. Shape and place in prepared tin. Brush the dough with the egg whisked up and sprinkle the poppy seeds and a pinch of salt.
  8. Put in oven to rise until at least doubled in size approximately 20 minutes.
  9. Turn on the oven at 200°C and set the timer for 45 minutes.
  10. Let the bread cool down before enjoying it. Bon Appétit

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
