Recipe's preparation

    Whether for a party, a quick lunch or a snack for your kids these pizza buns are so easy and delicious you have to try them!

    Ingredients:


    Dough 

    280g water

    2 tsp dried yeast

     

    15g olive oil

    500g plain flour

    2 tsp salt

    1 tbsp Italian herbs

     

    Vegetarian Topping

    1/2 onion, halved

    1/2 red capsicum

    1/4 red chili (or to your preference)

    2 tbsp black olives

    3 whole sundried tomatoes in olive oil

     

    Tomato Paste

    Shredded Cheese


    Method:


    Add water and yeast in TM bowl. Mix 1 minute, 37º, speed 1.


    Add remaining dough ingredients to TM bowl. Mix 6 seconds, speed 6. Then knead 1.5 minutes. Transfer to Thermomat and shape into a ball. Then fold the mat over dough and place in the Thermoserver to rise for 20-30 minutes in a warm place. 


    Add all Vegetarian Topping ingredients, except paste and cheese, into TM bowl. Chop, 5 seconds, speed 5Prepare any other toppings you wish to use while waiting for the dough. 


    Pre-heat oven to 200º and line a baking tray. Once doubled, open the Thermomat and cut dough into 6-12 equal parts. Shape into a ball and slightly flatten using your palm. Place on baking tray. 

     


     

    Add toppings of your choice and bake for 20-25 minutes.

    Real easy to make. I got 8 from this and I think next time I would flatten them more as they were too thick and also use 1 tsp of salt and it tasted a bit too salty. I did have double smoked bacon on it though so that's probably why!

    made these today and kids love them they said they are the best and better than the shop ones. will make these wkly now i think. Frozen three for school and they ate the rest as the batch only makes 6. next time i will make two batches. thanks for sharing the recipe

    These were recommended at our cooking class last week.


    So glad I tried them, topped with diced bacon, pineapple and cheese.


    Kids loved them. No more shop bought cheese & bacon rolls for us!

    Mmmmmmmm yummo! Was looking for something a little bit different for my mst 4 for lunch and came across this recipe! There was more than enough for mst 4, hubby & I and heated some up for a after school snack for mst 6 & mst 4!! Easy & tasty. I also added a handful of mushrooms in my 'paste'....kids were non the wiser
