Recipe's preparation

  1. Place 165-180 grams of Moro bars in bowl (dependant on your sweet tooth!!).

Use Turbo setting x 3 for 2 seconds to chop bars, or manual setting to chop finely (saves time).

Add 90 grams of butter to the bowl. Use Manual setting. 3-4 minutes at 65 degrees on Speed 2. This is a slightly higher temperature to allow the caramel to melt.

Once Moro bars and butter are melted (do not allow butter to separate). Add 3 cups of Rice Bubbles to the bowl.
Use Manual setting. 2-3 minutes at 40 degrees heat on Reverse Speed 1.5-2.
Use your Thermomix approved spatula through the measuring cup hole to stir the ingredients while the blades are moving.

Once combined spoon out and press into lightly greased shallow dish.

In the same bowl combine 200 grams of Dairy Milk chocolate and 30 grams of butter. Use Manual setting. 3-4 minutes at 55 degrees on Speed 2. Do not allow chocolate and butter to separate.

Spoon over rice bubble mixture to make a thick icing.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.

Cut into pieces just before serving and keep in the refrigerator!

P.S - you will need to hide it!

Tip

If you have a super sweet tooth use up to 180 grams of Moro bars.

Mars bars can be used as an alternative.

If you leave it out of the fridge for 5-10 minutes before serving it is softer to eat!

This recipe can easily be made in your Thermomix or on the stove. Thermomix saves 50% time and there is no chance of burning the ingredients or it separating!

Thermomix Model

    Recipe is created for
    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
