TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is the first donut recipe i've made in the TMX and love it.
Cooked half in the air fryer and half deep fried.
GinStar:

thanks
These are great and very easy to make
chippa: so sorry, haven’t been back to make this recipe & a year later I come back to the recipe to see your query to me haha.. 😬 oops.
So, in answer to your query: the air fryer worked beautifully. Definitely healthier & everyone enjoyed them. I recommend it 👍🏻
GinStar: how did you go with the airfryer ?
These were a massive hit in my family.
Very easy to make and deliciously light and fluffy! Cooked the holes too and evryone loved them.
Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Absolutely delicious and easy as.... highly recommend
Hi, do you know if these donuts could be cooked in an air fryer instead of a deep fryer? I don't own a deep fryer & don't want to own one. I think if I add a little oil to these & cook in an air fryer it should work I'll let you know
