Ingredients

You'll need

  • 2 cm ginger
  • 200 g natural yoghurt
  • 2 tsp ground Garam Marsala
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 3 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 tsp Corriander Seeds
  • 2 tsp garam marsala
  • 6 cardamon pods
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 40 g oil
  • 40 g Coconut
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 270 can coconut cream
  • 250 g water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add the ginger to the TM bowl. Chop for 30 sec on speed 7.

    2. Add yoghurt and garam marsala to the TM bowl. Blend for 30 sec on speed 2.

    3. Add chicken (cut into strips) into the TM bowl. Blend for 30 sec on reverse, speed 2. Pour into a bowl and refridgerate.

    4. Wash and dry the TM bowl. 

    5. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, coriander seeds, garam marsala, turmeric and the seeds from the cardomon pods to the TM bowl. Dry roast for 6 min, varoma, speed 1. Then blend the spices for 1 min, speed 9. Remove the spices from the TM bowl.

    6. Place the onion and garlic in the TM bowl and process on 4 sec, speed 5. Scrap down the sides.

    7. Add oil and saute for 2 min, varoma, speed 2.

    8. Add dry roasted spices. Saute for 2 min, varoma, speed 2.

    9. Add 40g coconut and process for 15 sec, speed 5 to form a paste.

    10. Add tomato paste, coconut cream and water. Cook for 15 min, varoma, speed 3. Add salt. Blend for 20 sec, speed 5.

    11. Add chicken pieces together with all the marinade into the TM bowl.

    12. Cook for 20 min, 90 degrees, reverse speed 1.

    13. Cook for an additional 10min, 90 degrees, reverse speed 1.
