    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Very nice, tasty dish. To serve 6 you would need to add some side veges. It would serve 4 easily though.Cooking 9

    Really enjoyable
Only thing I would change is that I would omit the last 10 mins of cooking.
Reason being I think the peas and capsicums were overcooked and I like my stews with more liquid.
    Will definitely cook again.

My hubby loves this, reminds him of home. I add chiptole peppers in adobe sauce (just a little bit!) at step 4. Gives it a nice kick, I leave it out if im making for the kids.

This is really nice. I love the pepper flavour it has, without being too overpowering.

Great Winter Stew Easy to Prepare

My husband and I enjoyed this recipe it was a very hearty stew, perfect for a cold winter night. I used gravy beef and red capsicum. Served it  with cauliflower rice and it added to the flavour of the dish. Not sure there would be enough for 6 serves. Easy to make
