Tip
Once cooked, if you have the time, pour Chocolate Chilli into a large frying pan or pot and simmer on low heat for several hours to release the flavour of all the spices. Add water if neccessary.
Serve with a large dollop of guacamole on top.
If going completely Paleo, this would be great served on a bed of cauliflower mash, otherwise a small serve of Jasmine Rice works too.

I have been cooking this recipe atleast monthly since 2015. 7 years on and it is still a firm favourite in our house and never disappoints.
Wow! Love it, thank you. I adjusted the method slightly to cook the mince in the basket. Will definitely make again.
Wow! I love the Well Fed Cookbooks but I'm new to The Thermie life, so thanks so much for converting this. The whole family love it. Sometimes I omit the water and swapped the tinned tomatoes for extra tomato paste to make it even thicker, and we use this as our go-to taco and burrito recipe. And it's even better the next day. Thanks again!!
