    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Easy to cook but bland with the chicken. Maybe the prawn version is better. Hubby wasnt impressed. I had a taste, agreed and added cracked S&P, chiili flakes and grated parm cheese and it was nice. Had a 2nd sml bowl after that. Oh and cooked mine on reverse speed so it didnt mush. Was watery but thats because I added a full can of coconut milk after the water. Next time will reduce the water. I already had 250g extra chicken in the recipe but still watery.

A firm favourite for hubby and I, usually made with fresh prawns 😊

Chicken went to mush- completely shredded. Perhaps speed 2 is a bit fast, or perhaps I cut my chicken too small? Would love if these recipes could be more thorough in their descriptions.

Delicious, added extra vegetables, cauliflower and celery along with the other vegetables.
Added grated ginger, tumeric and garlic, also thickened with cornflour even though only added 100 grams of water. Would be nice with some added fresh corriander sprinkled over the top, I used Ayam curry powder which has a Thai flavour.

Absolutely beautiful and so easy to make. I used one and a half teaspoons of curry powder, changed the milk to 130ml cream (thickened) and 60 mls milk, thickens at the end with about tablespoon of plain flour and mixed through in reverse for 10 sec speed 4.

It says use butterfly so I'm hoping it won't go mushy?

I'm guessing you are supposed to have the blade on reverse for the whole time? Mine looks like baby food! Hope it tastes good!!
