Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Very tasty meal & I love all in one meals, but no measurement for the oil so I just guessed as for other reioes about 20g, the last step cooking for 15 minutes was a bit too much as the sausages were cooked in step one & by the time I got to the rnd the sweet potato was mush
the cooking time for rice wasn't enough, it was raw still, so put it on for another 10 minutes & the sausages & veges were wekk cooked so next time I will tweek the rice cooking & more water as it was almost dry
Hi Annett,
This recipe was lovely. My family very much enjoyed it. After reading the reviews i changed a few steps. I kept checking the water level in step 1. I had to add water twice and actually cooked for an extra 5 mins each time i added the water. I think i would cook the rice seperately next time.
Also, the extra time allowed the sausages to be cooked properly.
I was also careful when adding the coconut cream and milk to not go over the MAX line on the bowl.
Otherwise, this was a great recipe.
Cheers
Absolutely delicious! Loved the flavour of the recipe & that the sauce has a lot of veggies included. The rice didn't cook as set out in the recipe, I had to do the rice seperately after I finished the curried sausages but will definitely cook this one again
"Dough mode" realy enjoyed this recipe, I didn't have coconut milk or cream so I used evaporated milk and put coconut in boiling water and sieved it for the milk , worked well, thanks for the recipe
Lucky that this recipe tastes ok as was not happy with the preparation at all, not enough water for the rice although I used less rice as 350 is too much for my family, and so the water boiled dry, had to scrub bowl feircely b4 i could use it again. Then with all ingredients in bowl less 200 of cream I was busy and didnt see it splattering all over my wall and bench till my daughter walked in, what a mess to clean up. Sorry wont use this one again.
Looks yummy, an old favourite
rice didnt cook in the 20 mins.also doesnt specifi how much oil to use.& wen i put the vegies in to coat, it turned into mashed vegies, grrrrrrrr. & now with the coconut milk & cream added, its like soup. unhappy!. i then had to re-steam new batch of vegies, combined the liquid & snags & put into thermo server, whilst i boiled rice. so what should have taken less then an hour, ive been at it for 2hrs. i do not reccomend this recipe.
This is delicious! I tweaked the cooking method slightly as I was running short on time and already had rice cooked. I skipped step 1 completely and started with step 2, adding whole sausages to the varoma and cooking on top of the curry mix and vegetables for 20mins after adding coconut milk. Then sliced cooked sausages and added to bowl and continued as instructed. Turned out perfectly! Makes a huge batch with plenty of sauce and a great flavour. 2 tsp curry powder was still mild enough for the little people. Thanks for the recipe
Hi Guys
i made this recipe last night and it was very nice. The only thing was that in the ingredients there was no measurement for the oil and my rice, I only used 300g but took longer than recipe. I adapted and it was fantastic
Hi There, thanks for sharing your recipe
I was wondering how I would need to alter this recipe for the TM31?
Thank you in anticipation of your reply
