I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place butter, and herbs in "Closed lid" 45 sec / Speed 5 / MC on
Set aside.
Place Chicken, egg, parmesan, salt in "Closed lid" 45 sec / Speed 9 / MC on
Divide chicken mixture into 6 portions. Take one prtion roll into a ball and flatten in your hand, put a ball of garlic butter in the centre, and then wrap the chicken mixture around the ball, being sure to fully enclose the butter, and not leaving any thin spots. Shape as you wish, I prefer a ball.
Roll in breadcrumbs, ensuring to keep kiev shaped nicely.
Deep Fry, or shallow fry till crumbs are golden brown, then place in a 180 degree oven for 15-20 mins to ensure chicken is cooked through
Enjoy!
Tip
This can be made as easy or hard as you like. I used premade bread crumbs, but you can make your own. In a pinch I used fresh tubed garlic and garden herb mix.
BEWARE: These are so easy, they become addictive...

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

OMG These are absolutely divine. Never buying store bought kievs again. Devoured by my whole family. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe it will be a regular in our household!
Loved these! Went down a treat with my husband and 4 year old. Would make sure to use block butter next time as used spreadable this time and the garlic butter did leak out. A bit fiddly but so worth it. This will be a regular for us from now on!
Could you make this without the Parmesan? My husband hates cheese. Can you taste it??
Delicious ! Easy to make. I dipped them in flour, egg then crumbs. Pan fried then finished them off in the oven.
Super quick and tasty. This one is a keeper!
Couldn't actually believe how simple these were to make. Winner all round, especially with the other half! He raved about them. Would make the butter more like the creamy ones you can buy. But sill a winner.
These are amazing. So quick and delicious and the garlic butter doesn't leak! I finished them in the air frier, which made them lovely and crispy. And it made heaps, two chickwn breasts fed three with a couple of kievs left over (they are also delicious cold). Thank you.
Really easy to make and a hit with the family
Love these. A regular in our house. I make up the garlic butter with more garlic & herbs, add extra parmesan (about 80g) and use a 250g of butter. This way I have plenty left over for garlic butter pizza the next day!
These look fabulous and will be on the top of my "To Try" list when I get my Thermomix in 2 weeks.
