I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Nut Butter
  1. If you dont already have almond butter made, you can make it before the satay sauce.

    1. Place all nut butter ingredients but the oil in bowl and blend on 1min/speed 9

    2. Add oil and blend 20sec/speed 5

    3. If the mixture is still too dry, add more oil, 10ml at a time and blend 10sec/speed 5 until it is a nice smooth consistency.

    4. Remove from bowl and set aside for main dish (no need to clean the bowl).

*Other nut butters can be used in this dish, I chose almonds for cost and easy availability

  2. Satay Sauce
  3. 1. Put garlic cloves and onion into TM and chop 4sec/speed 6

    2. Add curry powder and cumin, cook 1min/Varoma/speed 1

    3. Add all remaining ingredients into TM bowl

*Optional add chopped vege of choice into varoma and place on top of TM bowl

    3. Cook Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1/17 minutes/100deg

    4. Serve with cooked rice and steamed vegetables, or throw in some baby spinach.

I cook my rice in my tupperware rice cooker (microwave) while the TM is cooking. You can cook the rice and vege before step one and store in thermoserver until meal is complete.

*This dish can be made with peanut butter if you wish. I use almonds because I prefer the taste and we have family with peanut allergies

Tip

If you find the sauce is too runny for your liking, add another 2mins on the machine at 100deg and take the MC out.
