I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200°
  2. Line oven tray with baking paper
  3. Put everything except the mince into the Closed lid"Closed lid" and mix 20 sec/speed 9
  4. Put mince into a large bowl and pour in vegetable mix (this will be very wet and runny)
  5. Using your hands, mix through the vegetable mix into the mince until combined
  6. Take small handfulls of the mince mixture and roll into a ball, place onto oven tray, repeat until all mixture has been used
  7. Cook in oven for 30 - 45 min or until cooked through

Tip

I do not recommend cooking these in a frying pan as they will fall apart, these are best cooked in the oven on a tray.

These are fantastic the next day on a roll, toasted sandwich etc.

Warm up and freeze well.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
