Ingredients

Sauce

  • 4 level tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 level tbsp oyster sauce
  • 4 level tbsp honey
  • 2 level tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 level tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 clove garlic

Chicken stirfry

  • 500 g chicken thigh, Diced
  • 2 carrots, Chopped how you like
  • 1 Broccoli Head, Chopped
  • 1 Cup snow peas
  • 1 cup beans, Chopped

Rice

  • 250 g Basamati or Jasmine rice

Recipe's preparation

    Sauce
  1. Place garlic in bowl and chop 4sec/sp 7



    Add remaining sauce ingredients and cook for 5min/90deg/sp2



    Blend 30sec/sp10



    Set aside.
  2. Fill bowl with 1000L water. Put in the basket and weigh in the rice.

    Place the varoma on top on top with the chicken on the bottom and veggies on the tray.

    Cook 12-16min/varoma/sp4
    stirring rice and chicken half way through.


    Remove rice and set aside.


    Cook chicken and veggies a further 5mins/varoma/sp4 or until cooked.


    Place all all ingredients into thermoserver and mix together and serve with rice.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
